Diego Cruz is a painter and multidisciplinary artist interested in showing humorous, enigmatic, and defiant narratives through his art. Born into an immigrant family in Caracas, Venezuela, his surroundings have shaped him as an artist since he started drawing. He holds a BFA in Visual Arts with a Minor in Curatorial Practices from Emily Carr University of Art and Design and also attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
